Massage Cushion

Part #:

A while back I hurt my back and it was painful to just sit at times. During the day I am on my feet the entire time moving around makeing sure things are progressing as they are supposed to at work, by the end of the day my back was beat. My wonderful wife figured I could use a quick massage on the way home from work, so she picked up the massage cushion somewhere. This cushion had it all, heat, massage, adjustable lumbar. Kind of cool

This is what came in the box. The cushion and both a wall and car plug.
Take the cushion and place it on your seat, pull the strap over the back and get it centered. This didn't quite fit the Jeep, it was really tight. Then just plug the end into the car plug and your ready to go.
The controls are right on the side and labeled. You have Heat, Massage and your adjustments for the lumbar support.
So I sat down and tried it. The heat was okay, kind of warm, but might be good on a cold morning. Not many of those here in Florida. The Lumbar adjustment was okay, I'm pretty used to the Jeep and this was a little to much in the back area. So I finally tried the Massage feature. I know the button said Massage, but it was far from it. More like laying on an electric sander. So, it took me longer to type this than this sat in the Jeep. Back to the store.

Common Sense and Safety should always be observed when working on your vehicle or doing modifications. Jackstands, wheel blocks, disconnecting the battery are a few of the basic safety precautions that should be used and may not be mentioned in the write ups on this site. You are responsible for your own installation, these write ups are a helpful guideline and should not be taken as an official installation instruction. My write up may be different from the kits currently out there, so alwasy double check the manufacturers installation instructions when installing anything. I try to keep the site up to date with changes that have occured as I discover them, but may not have the latest unless someone lets me know. If you feel that an install is above your capabilities after reading my write ups, I recommend getting together with a club and getting some help. Only a few times have I needed to employe some actual help from a shop to get something done. Usually welding or A/C work. While I have spent many years working on mechanical systems, I am not an expert, nor do I pretend to be one. I hope these write ups have been useful to you.
